the lodge was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a comfortable and high-quality finish. It was ideally located on the edge of the forest, allowing us to easily access the miles of walks and cycleways directly from our doorstep. Despite its proximity to the A38, it felt isolated and peaceful, providing a truly tranquil atmosphere. the hot tub with forest views was a fantastic way to relax after our active days exploring the forest. Adrian and Tara, our helpful hosts, even allowed us to arrive early on my birthday and gave us a great recommendation for lunch at the Ley Arms, which turned out to be superb. Our family and dog had a wonderful time, and I couldn't have picked a better place for my 50th birthday weekend!
Nothing to dislike. 🙌.
